The COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test device is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of the nucleocapsid(N) protein antigen from SARS-CoV-2 in nasopharyngeal swab, oropharyngeal swab. It provides an aid in the diagnosis of infection with 2019-nCOV.
[SPECIMEN]
1. Specimen to be used should be obtained and handled by standard methods of their collections with the swab which is provided.
2. Nasopharyngeal swab: Tilt patient’s head back 70 degrees, Insert the swab through the nostril parallel to the palate (not upwards) until resistance is encountered or the distance is equivalent to that from the ear to the nostril of the patient, indicating contact with the nasopharynx.(Swab should reach depth equal to distance from nostrils to outer opening of the ear.) Gently rub and roll the swab. Leave swab in
place several second to absorb secretions. Slowly remove swab while rotating it. Specimens can be collected from both sides using the same swab, but it is not necessary to collect specimens from both sides if the tip of swab is saturated with fluid from the first collection. If a deviated septum or blockage creates difficulty in obtaining the specimen from one nostril, use the same swab to obtain the specimen from the other nostril.
The test device contains a nitrocellulose (NC) membrane strip. On the nitrocellulose membrane, the mixture of anti-N antibody 2 is
coated at the test area (T). Colored particles labeled anti-Nantibody 1 is embedded in the reagent pad.

l The test is intended to be read at 15 minutes. If the test is read before 15 minutes or after 20 minutes, false negative or false positive
results may occur, and the test should be repeated with a new test cassette.
l The test device is a disposable product. Please dispose properly after use.
